What is the Boost Start Skill?

One of the Skills you can unlock and upgrade is called Boost Start.

With Boost Start, you can channel a burst of energy from the start line drones to push your hydrojet forward at the start of a race.  To activate Boost Start, hold down the accelerator and hit the Boost button once just before the start lights turn green.  You'll know it worked when you see a lightning strike from the drones and your vehicle jumps forward.

You can unlock and upgrade Boost Start using Skill Points you earn when you level up.  Upgrading the skill increases the strength of the effect.

On touch screen devices, tap the Boost (flame) button right before the lights turn green.

HINT:  Having trouble getting it to work?  Keep an eye on the starting line graphics.  The rotating semi-circles give you a clue about when to hit the Boost. :-)
