I loved Riptide GP2. How is Riptide GP: Renegade different?

The game still focuses on great water racing physics, but with Riptide GP: Renegade we took the gameplay in a more action-arcade racing direction.

The tracks are more interactive with secret shortcuts and destructible elements, and there's a lot more animated action in the world. We also added point-to-point races (1 lap) so you can have things like really big jumps. The vehicles transform when you earn boost from stunting, and we also added a bunch of new more ridiculous stunts.

All versions of Riptide GP: Renegade now support 8 player online multiplayer (the console versions of RGP2 did not have this).

There's also a story in Career mode, which introduces various bosses that you have to beat, and then when you beat them you take over their hydrojets and you can play as those characters.

On top of that we tweaked and tuned the game to make it more responsive. We hope you like it!
